    Important: License costs listed are for annual contracts, paid annual. Annual contracts, paid monthly and monthly, paid monthly agreements will also increase at 5% and 20% respectively with the new rates.

    Along with the price change, Microsoft is raising the default storage capacity included for each customer’s Business Central database (as shown above, each license tier now includes additional cloud storage). This added storage can help support clients’ growing data needs without immediate extra cost, partially offsetting the price rise.

By starting a 1-year or 3-year term now, the client can retain the $70/$100 user pricing for the duration of that term, even after the October 1 changes.     Encourage customers to evaluate their license needs now and, if appropriate, renew early or extend to a multi-year agreement. For example, a client with a renewal in December 2025 could renew for a year in September 2025 instead, locking in the old rates until December 2026.
